A disease affected by a Plasmodium parasite is spread by the bite of infected mosquitoes.
Malaria is a blood disease caused by the Plasmodium parasite, which is transferred from one person to another by a mosquito.
Generally, the disease is spread by an infected female anopheles mosquito bite.
Early-stage symptoms of malaria:
- high fever
- Chills
- headache
- Sweat
- Fatigue
- Getting nausea
- Vomiting
- Dry cough
- back pain
- Muscle aches
Safety and Prevention from malaria:
- When it is dark outside, first go to an air-conditioned room.
- Wear protective clothing (full length of clothes.).
- Use of insect repellents.
- Use a bed net instead of a coil.
- Coils are harmful to the lungs and should never be disclosed to children and asthma patients.
Awareness required resident welfare associations (RWAs) about ways to prevent the mosquitoes from a background in your areas.
- Involving community children in these activities can make it even more successful.
- Never let water shortage in and around the house because later most of the malaria mosquitoes thrive in stagnant water.
- Clean your water tanks, coolers at least once a week and change the water of your flower vase frequently.
- Travel Safely if you are suffering from malaria nearby, do not forget to take proper prophylaxis after consulting your doctor and take precautions to protect yourself from bites.
